The Macabre Theatre Ensemble was founded by Sean Pollock along with others in November of 2011.

In the past, there have been interviews to become a member of the organization at the beginning of every semester. This semester, anyone can be a member if they fill out the membership form! Members can be placed on production staffs and participate in the planning of Macabre Theatre Ensemble events.

Both Members and non-members are permitted to audition for MTE productions.
